1. The Jilly Jacket
“The much anticipated Jilly jacket from Joe Fresh is here—and this year they’ve also made one for your mini me! After last year’s coat sold out in record time, lifestyle influencer Jillian Harris created a new longer version of the Jilly Jacket as well as the Jilly Mini: a matching leopard print coats for your mini. The coats are from Joe Fresh’s popular (and sustainable) lightweight Primaloft collection and go on sale September 24th, but I suggest getting on the waitlist if you want to nab this hot ticket item.”—Simone Olivero, Senior Editor
Womens, $89; kids, $39; toddler, $34, joefresh.com
2. Impress Organic Baby Food
“Sound the alarm! There’s finally an ‘actually’ delicious baby food on the market. Impress, the Canadian company who helped bring cold pressed juice into our lives, is now offering organic baby food for all stages of your little’s journey to solids: From those first single-ingredient purees, all the way through masterful combinations of four or more fruits and veggies. They also have your family’s health top of mind, as they use high pressure processing (fancy-talk for preserving food without heating it) to keep all those nutrients that frozen and shelf-stable baby foods don’t offer. Um, do these come in adult portions? —Amy Van Es, Deputy Editor
From $5/pack of two, impressfoods.com
3. Coral UV 3-in-1 Sanitizer
“Before March 2020, the only time I ever thought about sterilizing anything was when I had newborns, and I was dealing with all those tangled breast pump parts and the small army of baby bottles cluttering the kitchen counter. (I used Medela microwave bags to steam-clean.) But for the past six months, I’ve definitely gotten more germaphobic, regularly wiping my phone and eyeglasses down with alcohol wipes or precious Lysol wipes. This sterilizer machine from a team of Toronto entrepreneurs aims to solve this issue, using ultraviolet light instead of heat, water or disinfectant to clean. Just put it on your counter, plug it in, and plop in whatever item you want to sterilize, whether it’s your car keys, a sippy cup, your baby’s pacifier or plastic toys. It works in about 10 minutes.”—Ariel Brewster, Senior Editor
$199, coraluv.com
4. Ikea x Lego
“Nobody likes the feeling of stepping on a stray piece of Lego, but with these BYGGLEK boxes from Ikea (in stores and online in October), you’ll never have to worry about it again. Part toy, part play space and part storage solution, these boxes let kids build their Lego masterpieces inside, outside and all around the boxes. And when it’s time to put things away, the sharp clean lines will look good in your home no matter your style.”—Kevin John Siazon, Assistant Editor
From $16, ikea.com
5. Hello Bello Halloween diapers
“I’m a total sucker for seasonal patterns and these Halloween prints from Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard’s diaper brand make me (almost) wish my kid was still in diapers. Bonus: if you order the diaper bundle this month, but box transforms into a pirate ship—so cute!”—Simone Olivero, Senior Editor

6. Vans x National Geographic collection
“Vans and National Geographic have come together for a collection of shoes and apparel that celebrates our planet. I love that the items manage to be both cool and cute. My seven-year-old will be super into the iconic Vans slip-ons covered in cool animal photos.” —Kim Shiffman, Editor-in-Chief
From $25, vans.ca
7. Nixit
“You’ve probably heard of the Diva Cup, but maybe not Nixit. It’s a newer reusable, made-in-Canada period product on the market, aimed at women who value sustainability (and saving money!) through reducing the plastic and packaging waste of disposable pads and tampons. We love the bright and bold packaging design (it also comes with a handy cloth carrying case). The website has lots of how-to help and FAQ for those who’ve never tried a silicone cup, and it’s a great time to try it: we’re all avoiding public bathrooms in a pandemic, so a cup that lasts up to 12 hours (or 70 mL; the equivalent of four tampons) is a huge plus. And if you’re working from home right now, this also means no awkward fumbling and washing of the cup in your office bathroom. One of our testers, a mom of three, said she couldn’t feel the Nixit at all once it was inserted (unlike the Diva Cup). You can even use it with an IUD (but check with your doc).”—Ariel Brewster, Senior Editor

8. Fitbit Sense
“Remember when watches just told time? LOL. Fitbit’s latest smartwatch, called Sense, has tons of bells and whistles, including high-tech health sensors that monitor things like your heart rate, your skin temperature and even your stress level. I’m also pretty into the idea of a smartwatch with a six-day battery life!” —Kim Shiffman, Editor-in-Chief
$430, fitbit.com
9. Saje Muscle Melt Comforting coconut and shea body butter
“If the stress of 2020 is causing your body to tense up even more than usual, this body butter is just what you need to soothe any aches and pains. The rosemary and chamomile work to relax your muscles so the tension just melts away. Plus, it’ll leave your skin feeling soft and supple. Win!”—Kevin John Siazon, Assistant Editor
From $10, saje.com
10. Leanne Ford for Crate and Kids
“Finally, kid’s furniture that will match the rest of your house. This adorable collection from Leanne Ford has mini versions of some of her classic pieces—that rounded arch crib also comes in a canopy bed for kids and parents. The collection features furniture, accessories and linens for the nursery, bedroom and playroom—all in a minimalist palette. This is the first kids collaboration from Crate and Kids and I really hope we’ll be seeing more soon!”—Simone Olivero, Senior Editor
Crib, $1,500, crateandkids.ca
11. Vitamix FoodCycler FC-50
“Before now, you probably wouldn’t have put ‘composting’ and ‘stylish’ in the same sentence, but that’s just the way Vitamix rolls. All you need is a free outlet and one cubic foot of counter space to start reducing your family’s carbon footprint. Just put your scraps—everything from chicken bones to vegetable peels—into the FoodCycler and it transforms them into fertilizer for your garden in one (odourless and quiet) process. Seriously, it’s that easy.”—Amy Van Es, Deputy Editor
$500, vitamix.com
12. Medela Pump in Style
“I love this newly redesigned Pump in Style breast pump from the experts at Medela. With a new stronger vacuum technology and better-fitting breast shields, this hospital-grade pump claims moms will be able to pump more milk faster—who doesn’t want that? I also love that it’s compact, so you there’s no carting around a massive machine every time you have to pump.”—Simone Olivero, Senior Editor
